This is due to sunlight. Aquariums do not like too much light and intense light will cause the aquarium to go green. (See the image overleaf for severe green water algae). On column style tanks, even one hour a day will cause a problem. If you have blinds, please use these to keep the sunlight from the aquarium. Please inform us also, should your aquarium be affected, we may be able to assist.
